Sunnyside World - EX
Some updates on Sunnyside World and what I'm going to do with it next. First up, the basic biomes are finally nearly finished and they'll be added to the free Sunnyside World asset pack. Alongside that, I'm working on a paid expansion - this will take a more pre-made approach with unique buildings such as woodcutters hut, mines, forge etc. Rather than the flexibile - but a tad complex - system of parts in the current asset pack, I'll try and simplify things. So an overhaul, simplifying things and making it easier and quicker to use new unique buildings and tiles.
The biomes will be Forest, Snow, Desert, An alternate forest vibe and an Arid/Lava type one. Each with some unique plants. There's also the cave, inside-building and beach tiles from the previous version so you could say 8 biomes altogether.
You can see below some of the buildings I'm planning - and how they relate to resources you might have in a game. If anyone has any requests or suggestions for assets/buildings etc, feel free to let me know in the comments.

I'm using Google Translate, are you interested in drawing four-way characters and animations, I'd be happy to pay for it. Finally, you for your efforts, for providing such excellent resources for majority of game authors and continuing to update.
There is a 4-way walk, run and idle cycle that was added a while ago. I haven't done the actions in 4 way yet (thats quite a bit of work) but you can run around with the character angle now. I'm in the process of adding the action animations and extended the current animations to be 8 sided.
(I have fully functional 8 sides walking, running, jumping and digging)
You providing this for free helped me a lot to bootstrap

Have you considered adding more "creature" types in the future?
Apart from humans, goblins or skeletons, in order to have more variety for different zones or enemies!

I am doing some new enemies, though this will be for the paid expansion / new version. I've got: Bats, Eye Bats, Ghosts, Snakes, Slimes, Spiders, Mushrooms and a flaming skull sketched out at the moment.
I need a sequence frame to represent the tree growing from a sapling to a tree, can you make one?
Luckily I was already playing around creating some size varients! There you go!
